  • Sent STRAT from Stratis Core Wallet ... nothing's happened April 18, 2019
Txn shows me a txId, but it doesn't show up on the block explorer at all. Presumably this is a 'fees are stupidly low' problem? Fees were only 0.0001 strat. The problem with that problem.... is that I've no way of upping the fees? What happens now? At some point, this txn will be dropped […]

On Electrum wallet transactions show up immediately as they should. Any ideas how […]

What Is Stratis?

Stratis is a platform using the Blockchain-as-a-service (or BaaS) technology, and was made to offer solutions to the financial corporations that want to benefit from the Blockchain technology. Stratis lets its users to customise their blockchain applications with the features they need, thus accelerating and making the development easier, for all the blockchain projects.

On Stratis, one can generate distinct and private blockchains, that can be released by other entities which in turn can further tailor them to their needs. These side blockchains are safe on the main blockchain of Stratis. Lite clients and APIs provide access to these chains.

The C# Stratis Bitcoin Full node platform and framework is where the Stratis platform will be created. That framework will be developed on the NBitcoin library, an almost complete port of the Bitcoin Core, that was written by blockchain developer Nicolas Dorier, using C# and .NET. NBitcoin was established using just C# and operates on the .NET framework, and as a result its further development and maintenance is easier than the classic C++ Bitcoin Core source code.
