What Is Polymath ?
Polymath is security issuance platform that offers the creation, issuance and trading of financial instruments on the blockchain. It merely the legal process of creating and selling security tokens using a security token standard, the ST20. With ST20, only authorized investors can hold ST20 tokens.
Polymath platform compliance standard is made-up of these groups.: the issuer, legal delegates, smart contract, developers KYC verification and a decentralized exchange.
The Polymath is made up of three layers: an application layer, protocol layer and a legal layer to enforce your token to be compliant and stays compliant. These layers reduce the legal complexity involved in securities while also lowering fees and enhancing the liquidity of assets.
Most tokens are readily tradable on exchanges, but security tokens adopt different rules due to various legal implications.
