What Is ZenCash ?
ZenCash is an end-to-end encrypted and private system that can be used for transactions, communications, and publications. It is a distributed platform the enables private messaging integrated with IPFS for publishing and information access. Zen is a blockchain system built to ensure privacy and anonymous transactions based on protocol design and specification.
It is the first notable private, reliable and distributed blockchain for communications, publishing, and transactions. All these are achieved on zero-knowledge proofs, a governance engine, and full encryption. These are some of the features in ZenCash: preserved b2b/p2p asset exchange, peer-to-peer insurance, anonymous token value, decentralized financial services, decentralized aid mechanism for people, proof of title for valued properties and identification of data.

Mining of ZenCash
ZenCash uses Proof of Work(PoW) to mine the token. All it requires is the verification of the transactions and the solving equihash algorithm on the blockchain.
Once, the equihash algorithm is solved, a new block is added to the blockchain with contributed computing power, the miner receives a reward in the form of ZenCash token.
For every successful mining, a piece of Zen goes to the mining pool for people who contributed to building the GPU miner. ZenCash takes 8.5% of the mining rewards back to its’ operations and maintenance. The 3.5% of the rewards go to secure nodes.
ZenCash mining is a lot easier to mine than the bitcoin network.
